Oh yeah, and I sold a story to Lightspeed and became a member of SFWA. Not too shabby. But busy. Very very busy. And I tend to have very strong opinions about adverbs. Last week marked …

I have a story inspiration board on Pinterest called Exquisite Corpse (based on the writing method of the same name where multiple authors continue/contribute to a single story). Since I’m a highly visual person, I enjoy visual writing prompts as well, so I’m going start including these as well.

A body is found under a bed in a motel room. This is another prompt inspired by a fake news site, this time Empire News. My favorite “quote” from the “article”:

“I clean that room every day. I noticed a smell several times, and told my manager,” said Anita Rodriguez, a housekeeper at the motel. “He told me to just use extra Febreeze in the room and it would go away eventually. I always hated cleaning that room.”
